COMING TRADE CHANCES,
OPINION OF RETURNED TOURIST* (From Our Special Correspondents.) Auckland, September 23. "I come back perfectly satisfied that Now Zealand is still 'God's Own Country.' With our climaio and our land I do not think that there is any country in tho world like it." Tlieso wera tho opinions expressed by Mr*G. P. Donnelly. of Napier, who returned to Auckland by the Niagara last jiight after having been on a trip to tho .United Kingdom and Canada extending over several months. While in Vancouver Mr. Donnelly availed himself of tho opportunity of investigating the possibilities of the extension of New Zealand's trade to that city. He considers that there is a very groat opening for Now Zealand produce in Vancouver, especially butter. "They look upon our butter as tho best in tho world," ho remarked. "They also think that there is nothing to equal our mutton and'lamb.'! In Mr. Donnelly's opinion there is a groat futuro in front of New Zealand as far as tho export of mutton and lamb to Vancouver is concerned. Australia, however, was making a great effort tc capture trade in that- direction,
