In connection with tho reported approaching truce between two of the most powerful money groups—the German "Deutchso Bank" ami the so-called Princes' Trust, consisting of the Kaiser'a best friend (Prince Max Fnrstenberg) and Princo Christian 'Hohenlohe-Ovrin-gen, a kinsman of tho Kaiser, Princo Fui'stenberg finds it necessary to float a public loan of £1,100,000 sterling, mortgaging tho bulk of his propijrties m the Grand Duchy of Baden as security. Tlieso include the famous Donauschingen estate, where tho Kaiser is the Prince's guest every year, and also his groat brewery. Tho money is needed to finance his and his partner's multifarious interests. Tho newspapers interpret the projected loan as tho latest step in tho liquidiu tion of tho Princes' Trust, which is described as a stranded ship.
