Replying to further criticisms of Australia's compulsory service system, Captain Muirhoad Coliins, private secretary to tho High Commissioner for Australia (Sir Georgo Reid) points out that tho average defence prosecutions in tho Commonwealth ■do not equal the education .prosecutions in a single State. Ho asks whether tho critics would therefore advocate tho abolition of compulsory education.
