A collogo which lias been proposed and discussed for tho purpose of finding occupation in business for superfluous girls is not favoured by Sir Thomas Lipton, Sir Joseph Lyons, Sir John Dewar, and Mr. Selfridgo. Sir Thomas Lipton says that tho ordinary educated girl is more likely to bo contented in business than as a college girl. His experience has been that few college men aro successful in business, and tho saino applies to womon.
Sir Joseph Lyons considers that positions aro rarely found in business for college girls wlithout displacing men. Ho thinks the outlook suggests a grim' sex war. '
