The annual business meeting of tho Y.W.C.A. is to be held in the rooms in Manners Street at eight o'clock p.m. cn Thursday. Messrs. J. H. Bethunc nnd Co. announce in our auction columns that on Wednesday, October 1, undsr instructions from the Registrar of the Supreme Court, they aro submitting several properties at the Lower Hutt, also a leasehold property in Molesworth Street. The Hutt properties contajn an-area 'of 47 acres 2 rooms 21.4 perches, of which nearly one acre is situated near Alicetown, and on tho land stand six cottages of five rooms; tho balance of the land is on the Hutt and Nainai IJo.nl, and the buildings on it comprise eight-roomed house, stable and five cottages, four of four rooms, aiul one of three rooms.
