Lady Ward and Miss Ward are. staying at Se.i View in the Islo of Wight. Misses Ida, Ada, and Olive Burton, cf Duuedin, are in Devonshire for somo weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Myers, of Auckland, are spending the vacation in Devonshire with v'heir children

Miss La Roche, of Auckland, who has b»en in England for a trip, leaves for home on October 3.

The Misses Lush have returned from Scotland, and are the guests of Mrs. Colbesk, at Turnham Green.

Mr. and Mrs. Sibbald, of Duncdin, aro travelling on the Continent. Their daughters are at present in Germany studying the language. Mrs. Schloss, of Wellington, and her husband, are at the Hotel Cecil, after having spent some time in Berlin with Air. Schloss's. mother.

Mr. James Robertson, together with' his wife and family, are returning to New Zealand by the Orama, which leaves London on October 10.

Dr. Hav has leturned from a tour of the Highlands, and resumed duty ns resident medical officer at the Paddincton Green Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Pilkington. formerly of Auckland, and now o? Wellington, arrived in May, and havo since then visited Belgium, Germany, and America, later motoring about England Scotland, and Wales. They will be in London for another month, sailing then for New Zealand.

Dr.,_ Truby King, the .delegate from the New Zealand Government to • the International Congress of Medicine and the Congress on Infant Mortality and the Welfare of Childhood, was responsible for tho framing and introduction of a resolution at the finish, which ivill interest New Zealanders, especially those concerned witli the health of tvomen and children. Th-3 five hundred copies of the pamphlet "Baby's First Month," printed b'v the New Zealand Government, arrived in time for distribution nt one of the discussions at the International Congress.
