Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, lit'd.,Mas'tertou, report having held their fortnightly sale in their Greytown yards, when only a /small yarding of stock came fonvard, and prices realised were as follow-Coloured yearling heifers, £2, £2 155., and £2 165.; springing heifers, to £5 ICs.
Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at Woodville on Mondaj*, when they offered a small yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle to a large attendance of buyers. The firm quote:—Fat ewes, £1 Is.; storo . ewes* 16s*. 7(1.; yearling heifers, £2 15s. to £4 55.; yearling stoers, £2 Is. to £2 75.; store pigs, £1 'Is. 6d.
Mcssts. Abraham ami Williams, Ltd., report on their Woodville sale, held on Monday. as follows:—We offered a fair.yarding of sheep and-a heavy yarding of overvthreo hundred head of cattle to a largo attend--ance of buyers, and, have to report a good clearanco at following pri'cc9:—Mixed hoggets, 10s. Id. to 10s. 4d.; empty ewes, to 13s. 6d.; mixed yearlings, in poor condition, £2As. to £2 55.; yearling heifers, £2 7s. 6d.'; 15-months P.A.-cross steers, £3 16s. 6d.; fat cows, £5 to, £6; forward cows, £3 10?. to £4 35.; store cowe, 365. to £2 55.; empty heifej-s, £3 ss. to £4 10s. Dairy stoclx were not in such good demand, but we had a good clearance. Backward-conditioned cows, in mills* £4; cows on drop, backward sorts, £4 35.; springing heifers, £5 12s. 6d., £6 ss. to £6 10s. *
