RECORD HILL CLIMB.
The record hill climb for commercial motor vehicles in New Zealand strxnds to tho credit of tho Argyll motor-lorry, which recently, in tho presence of a Government official and carrying a full load of two tons, with four passengers aboard, mounted Reuben Avenue, Brooklyn, up a ruling grade of 1 in 31. Sovoral other makes of motor-lorry attempted tho hill, hut all failed. Argyll commercial motors arc on order for the Wellington City Council, the Kelburnq MotorM>us Company, and several municipalities in the South Island. For full particulars apply J. E.
