A man, having his money in a wallet, took out enough to pay for admission, and replaced tho purso in his hip-pocket, and then joined the crowd that was pressing forward to tho tjeketAs soon as he arrived insido he missed his purse, and reported Ilia loss to tho attendant and manager. The only consolation which ho received was tho information that'other casea of tho kind had been reported lately. Somo time ago a Wellington rosident, who had a small leather wallot contain' ing twelve or thirteen sovereigns, wntf robbed in tho Barao way in a picturetheatre orowd.
