Wedding In St. Paul's. Yesterday afternoon tho marriage took plaoo in St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral of Miss May Aldred Boden-, daughter of Mr and Mrs. W. F. Boden, of Sydney Street, Wellington, to Mr. Dugald Stewart, son of the Into Mr. and Mrs. I>. Stem-art, of Glasgow, Scotland. Tho Rev. A. M. Johnson tho ceremony. The bride, who away by her father, wore a. gown of white satin draped with ninon and laco, and a long tulle veil fastened with a wreath,of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of cyclamon and white irises, with maidenhair fern. Tho bridesmaids were her sister, Miss Annie Boden, and Miss Nellio Driscoll (Christchurch). Both were in frocks of whito satin draped with ninon and lace, and woro becoming mob caps of ninon bordered with killings of laco and finished with wreaths of tiny yellow flowers. Their bouquets also wore' of yellow roses and primroses. Mr. Arthur Sandel was tho best man, and Mr. It.. A. Boden tho groomsman. Wanganul Beautifying Society. An enjoyable evening _ in aid of the Wanganui East Beautifying Society was held on Friday, at "Ingleside," Wangaliui East, tho residence of Mr. and Mrs. Walter N. Willis. Cards and dancing entertained the guests. Mrs. Bland, Mi - . Dykes, and Mrs. Davics wore prize-winners in the card contest. Mrs. Norton and Mrs. Mainland played the piano. Tho funds raised by tho various evenings given by Wanganui East residents this season will all go towards furthering tho bcautifyingof the various grounds held by the society in the interests of tho community. Tho work has been in progress for four years, and most of tho members of the little band who inaugurated the movement aro still to the front in bearing the heavy part of tho work.
