AIRSHIP SCHEME.
TO EXPLORE NEW GUINEA - , ,By Teleerapli—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, September 20. ■ Lieutenant Graetz, of tho Luftfarzeng Company, Berlin, has prepared a scheme for utilising an airship to explore New Guinea. The cost or tho enterprise, in furtherance of which committees have bl'en formed in Britain and Holland, is estimated at £150,000. The Colonial Bank is financing tho schemo.
It is claimed that a systematio topographical survey of tho unknown interior can be ma-do more quickly and thoroughly by the new scheme. One station will bo erected in the interior and others along tho coast.
