At Bloomington, Indiana, Mark Hurst, a stonemason, awakening in the middlo of the night,. summoned his family, three _ daughters, and thefr mothor. into his bedroom, and then announced that all must die. Ho threw a stick of dynamite under .'the bed. There was a deafening roar, and tho house collapsed.
Hurst and ono of tho daughters wero Blown to bits, and the two other daughters died from injuries. Tho mother escaped. Tho windows of houses in tho neighbourhood wero broken by tho shock.
