RAILWAY WORKERS.

THE YEARLY SMOKE CONCERT. The annual smoke concert of tho En-gine-drivers', Firemen' b, and Cleaners' Association was held on Saturday night. Mr. George Poarco presided. Among thoso present were: Mr. D. Buick. M.P., Dr. A. K. Newman, M.P., and Mr. W. A. Veitch, M.P. Tho programmo included tho following toasts:—"Parliament," proposed by Mr. Barr, responded to by Mr, D. Buick, M.P., Dr. Newman, M.P., and Mr. W. A. Veitch,' M.P.; "Engine-drivers' Firemen's and Cleaners' Association," proposed by Mr. E. A. Dawson, responded to by Mr. W. Wiles and others; "Visitors," proposed by Mr. Foster; "Kindred Societies," proposed by Mr. G. Guthrie; and "Tho Ladies," proposed by Mr. Burns. Items of entertainment wero contributed by: Messrs. M. Gutliric, W. Boyd, Lb Conrpte, Maclde, Braidwood, and Foster.
