FALCON SHOAL LIGHT.
PROPOSED ALTERATION.
Some important proposals will be considered at' a special meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board, to bo held on Wednesday, September 24, at 8 p.m. An. additional by-law dealing with' cheese-store charges will be considered. Tho following notices of motion have been given by Mr. H. L. Nathan:— (1) That the light on the Falcon Shoal ho immediately altered from a stationary light to an occulting light as apparently it is necessary for tho Falcon Shoal light to remain until the dredging of this shoal is comploted. (2) Tliat in viow of the agreement that exists botween the shipping companies, Harbour Board, and Waterside Workers, the board take into con-, isideration and determino what action should' bo followed .to mark the board's disapproval of tho casual workers in objecting to work tho salved cargo ex tho stranded steamer Devon on Monday, September 1, 1918. ' • '
