Tliore has been a renewal of. ilio troublo at Dublin, especially at Finglas, three miles from tlio city proper, where a field of cabbages belonging to Butterley, a farmer, was practically destroyed ami agricultural implements and machinery thrown into a drain.
Butterley's labourers refused to strike, and the rioters continued to collect. Hie rioters included many who were drank. They stoned a publichouse.
A constable fired four shots into tlio air, and a ricocheting bullet wounded a boy. The constable was arrested'. (Rec. Soptembor 18, 10.20 p.m.)
Riotous proceedings have occurred at Belfast, Tlio discharging of revolvers compelled tlio police to clial'go the crowds, who were welcoming Connolly, t'ho strike leader who was released from prison after a successful hunger-strike. CRISIS IN BIRMINGHAM. . RAILWAY STATION PICKETED. , London, September 17. Thero aire six thousand! strikers at Birmingham. All the goods stations aro closed, and all tlio stations are picketed. Every oonceivablo vehicle, including undertakers' 'conveyances, are being used to convey foodstuffs. _ Though no official sanction has been given to tlio striko, a thousand mora railway men liavo gono out at Birmingham.
The local passenger sorrice is affected 1 , and numbers of business men are stranded.
(Rec. September 18, 10.20 p.m.) Tho Executive of tlio National Union of Railwaymen consider that tho Birmingham strikers will demand a national strike to-day.'
The Liverpool railwaymen havo decided to send a deputation representing workmen, apart from the union, to interview the railway officials with regard to obtaining a speedy settlement, wliicb is generally expected. LONDON MOTOR-BUS HANDS. 11,000 MEN BEADY TO STRIKE. London, September 17. It is announced that 11,000 men employed by tho London Motor-bus Combino will strike at midnight on Friday next unless tho employees of T. Tilling and Co., Ltd. (twelve of whom were dismissed recently for disobeying an order prohibiting tho wearing of union badges while on duty) aro reinstated) and the union recognised. In. the event of a strike the issues will be widened to include a uniform wage and redress of. alleged petty annoyances under the garage regulations.

Tilling and Co. state that some of tho drivers deliberately wore their badges in order to partly obscure tho word • "Tilling" on tho cap. The company's other servants who did not wear 'badges wore subjected' to abuse. The company Iliad no objection to men belonging to unions, and was always ■ready te discuss matters with tho men. direct.
Tho London newspapers recall the oiroumstancos of tho Brisbane tramway strike, and quote Mr. Judge Higgins's award regarding tho wearing of •union badges. Tho'general opinion expressed is that the attitude of Tilling and Co. was ill-advised.
