Four ounces rice, i pint water, % pint mills, 2oz. sugar, 2 eggs, pinch salt, jam, vanilla, breadcrumbs, frying fat. Wash the ric9 well, put it on to boil with J pint water, and cook until all the water is absorbed; add milk, and simmer gently trill all' milk is absorbed'; add) 1 egg, sugar, and vanilla; stir over firo to cook the egg, thou turn on to a greased plate to cool. When cool cut. in pieces about 2in. Ion" and iin. wide, roll in egg and breadcrumbs. Fry in deep -smoking hot fat, drain, join, together with jam, sprinklo icing or castor sugar thickly over, and servo at onco. FOR TO-MORROW, Stock. Ono kidney. Piece of pickled pork. Bread.and butter,' FOR SUNDAY. Oysters. Fish stock. Round of beef. Dates. Apples. Rhubarb. Bananas. Voal.
