Septcmber47, 6.5 p.m.) London, Septembor 17, The recent railway accidents have directed attention to the possibilities of all-steel rolling-stock. The English companies aro dubious, _ believing tlmt tlio consequent increase in weight will block the adoption of all-steel trains. The European companies are also withholding judgment 011 the question, although cars of this type have been employed in Hungary for the last thirty years, and both India and Egypt ara ordering them.
