ANOTHER ATTEMPT ON GENERAL OTIS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Los Angeles, September 16. General Otis, owner of the "Los Angeles Times," received an infernal machine through the mails.' Tho machino failed to explode. (Rec. September 17, 11.15 p.m.) Los Angeles, September 17. General Otis attributes his attempted assassination to tho sanio parties who destroyed tho Los Angeles "Times" building in 1910. Some Japanese servants had their suspicions aroused by tho packet, and called General Otis's attention to it. General Otis handed tlio packet to tlio polico, who found that it contained enough dynamite to destroy half tho building.

Two brothers named 'Macnamara, union men, and a mam named M'Jlanigal wero concerned in ths outrase.
