NEW ZEALAND AIR-CRAFT.
PUBLIC MEETING CALLED,
The New Zealand' branch of ijho Imperial Aerially Leaguo is arranging for a public meeting on Monday week. The Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) has consented to take the chair, ami amongst the other .speakers will be the Hon. James 'Allen (Minister for Defence) and the Right Honourable Sir Joseph Ward, who have both hadi some experience of aviation curing recent visits to England. The Government's presentation aeroplane is duo to arrive at Wellington on September 30, but it is hoped to have a local aeroplane for exhibition and to show a few kinematograpli films of machines in actual flight. The objects of the league arc to encourago the invention, production, and'use of aerial craft, to spread information showing the' importance to the British Empire of aerial supremacy, to provide facilities far practical tuition in aeronautics, and to unite in a central organisation nil who have the welfare of the Empire nt heart and are willing to help on. the towk. -
