HORSE PARADE.
BY CANTERBURY A. & P. SOCIETY. (By Telceranh.—Frees Association.) Chrlstchurch, September 17. Tlib Canterbury A. and P. Association held its annual horso parade to-day. Tho entries totalled 47, of winch 41 paraded. Tho entry list showed an increaso of ten, as compared with last year. This year's total, was mn.do up of 38 draught, one thoroughbred, two ponies,' six trotters, carriage horses, and roadsters. Awards were made as follow:— Draught stallion, foaled prior to June 30, 1910. Prizes £12, £5, and £3.— Baron Bold, 1; Black Douglas, 2; Revolution, 3; Auchencruave, v.h.c.; Aitkonbrae, h.c. Draught stallion, - foaled since June 30, 1910. Prizes £6, £3, and £I.—Reformer,- 1; Baron Burnside, 2; Sir George, 3; Meadowbank Prince, v.h.c.; Sir Herbert, h.c. , Tho President's Cup (a 25-guinea challenge cup presented by Mr. J. Griggc) was awarded to Baron Bold, owned by Mr. Jas. Patrick, of Outrnm.
