LEAGUE'S NEW SECRETARY. Sliallcrass, formerly of tho firm of Leviien, Shallcrass and' Co., of Willis Street, and well known in Nelson, West Coast, and Hawko's Bay (where up till • a few months ago he was resident). ■ He is particularly well known, in bowling circles, and for years was a prominent .activp mombor of tho Thornaon Club. Sincphis return to Wellington he has become associated with the To Hiwi Club. Mr. Shallorass lias also taken a dee|> interest in sport of all description, often in an executivo capacity.
