MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS.
At a meeting of tho committee appointed to further the Horne Memorial Fund held last evening, it was decided to forward a letter to all ex-pupils of Petone Main School. Tho communication explains that tho object of the fund is to establish a scholarship in Petone, to be competed for annually by pupils not over the scholarship age, and known as tho Home Memorial Scholarship. Regard is to bo given to physical as well as mental efficiency.
