Mr. Cook, the Federal Prime Minister, speaking at tho Parliamentary "at homo" to tho British Parliamentary party, said that one thiiig Australia could do was to teach tho visitors how to govern without a majority. A certain standard of Parliamentary policy was being evolved by Australia. For instance, whatever party was in power it was now assured that defence must procecd along tho lines of Imperial cooperation and co-ordination. Australians woro now grown up, and were realising more and more their obligations to get beneath tho burdens of Empire.
