BIBLE-IN-SCHOOLS.

1 Sir, —At a meeting of the Gisborne Committee of tho Biblo-in-Schools League, lield on September 5, reference was mndte to tlie Press Association report of tho deputation to tlio Prdmo Minister on September 1. Tho subject is 0110 that is creating considerable interest throughout tho 'Dominion; and' it was not too much to expect some adequate report of such , a deputation. Until a copy of Tiib Dominion and other Wellington papers reached us, it was impossible to gather who tlio deputation consisted 1 of, or what was tho nature of the arguments used. Some important facts were brought out, which even in the limited spacb of a telegraphic report might have been given to the public.—l am, etc., F. W. CHATTERTON. Gisborne, September 10. [We have had' several complaints ref aiding tho inadequacy. _of tho Press ssociation report of this deputation.]
