Tho Imperial Challengo Shield, with a bronze replica, twelve silver medals, and £15 went to No. 1 Company of tho Naval Resorvo, South Australia, with an average of 92.4. No. 1 Company of the' Lord Roberts Cadet Corps, 92.2, was sccond. Tho Naval Cadets at Albany, 91, were fifth and tako ten bronze medals. The Cadets of South Melbourne, 89, wero sixth and tako thirteen bronze medals. Nelson Collego (New Zealand) was ninoteonth; Now Plymouth, twentyninth; No. 01 Company of Cadets* Not,

Zealand, thirty-ninth; and High School, Christchurch, forty-fourth. Tho results of the junior competition were: Marine Cadets, Deal, with an averago of 98.8 wcro first, and take a shield and ft bronze replica, eleven silver medals, and £15. Eastern Road (South Melbourne), 89.6 were second, and take eleven bronze medals and £10. No. 5 Company of tho Naval Cadets, South Australia, were sixth, and tho Seventh Company of the High School, Christchurch, thirty-sixth. HIGHLAND RIFLE CLUB. The first annual meeting of tho Highland Defence Rifle Club was held last evening at the Drill Hall, Mr. J. M'Donald presiding. The annual roport stated that the club had started its first year with a membership of 23. Tho members of the club nad acquitted themselves well on tho range, the standard of their shooting been quite up to that of the older clubs. In the champion teams match the club's team fihislied fifteenth out of 32 teams which entered. Officers for the ensuing term ' wcro elected as follow: —President, Mr. J. M'Don'ald; vice-president, Mr. S. Shannon; secretary, Mr. C Brooke; treasurer, Mr. G. Morison; trustees, Messrs. H. Marsden and J. Eves; committee, Messrs. S. Spencer, W. Conibear, J. Peart, L. James, H. Williamson, J. Pitt; selector of teams, Mr. R. Sneddon.
