Ernest Alfred Bradley, charged with murdering Mary Jane (iroontreo, with whom lu> had boon living for four years near Cobar, pleaded' that tho woman shot, liorsclr becausn a constable's remarks about her children) had preyed' on lier mind. Accused was found guilty and sentenced to death. Perth, September 12. James O'Brien was found guilty of tho murder of Peter Hansen, and sentenced to death. Ho was recommended to mercy on account of his ago. O'Brien told tho police that Hansen had stolen some of his belongings, and tliat ho went to get them back. There was a struggle, and Hansen seized tho muzzle of his (O'Brien's) gun, which went oIT, llauson being fatally shot. . j
