UNEMPLOYMENT.
AUSTRALIA PACES THE QUESTION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, September 12. The Federal House of Representatives has. passed a motion to the effect that tho time has arrived to take steps to remove _ tho evil of unemployment in Australia. Commenting on tho motion, Mr. Glynn (Minister for External Affairs) announced that ho was formulating questions to friendly societies, whoso cooperation in national insurance was desired. The Government, lie added, had decided to introduce a measure which would at least mitigate, if not remove, unemployment.
