Captain Stackhouso intends to spend two yeairs in the Antarctic, wintering in the pack ico, whilo tho vessel returns to New Zealand. Captain Stackhouso, .who takes with him a largo staff of scientists and a crow of forty, will sail via Punta Arenas. Tlio expedition, which will cost £40,000, has already received considerable financial support.
