After hearing tho evidenco, Dr. M'Arthur, 5.31., delivered judgment for tho plaintiff for £9 12s. lid. RURAL RENT. In the oaso of James Du(f Craickshank and Archibald Allan Thomson v. Robert Edward Parker, a claim of £15 as for rent of a farm, Mr. W. G. Ridl- - S.M., gavo judgment for tho plaintiff for tho amount claimed, with costs £2 9s. UNDEFENDED CASES. In the following judgment was entered by Dr. M'Arthur, S.JI., foi the plaintiffs by default; —Ajiiui Paterson Stout v. Arthur Oliver Tovey, £4, costs £1 Bs. 6d.; John O'Donnell v. Arthur Oliver Tovey, £6 3s. lid., costs £1 Bs. 6d.; James Bell v. R. L. Axmit, £2, costs 10s.: Empiro Oil Company, Ltd., v. F. Simmonds, £3 10s. 6d., costs 125.; M'Grath ana Willis v. W. J. Joyce, £5 4s. 3d., costs £1 3s. 6d. JUDGMENT DEBTORS. P. H. Pitcher was ordered to pay Millar's West Australian Hardwood Company £25 ss. 2d. by September 25; S. Masoai to pay Wellington City Corporation £1 4s. 2d. by September 25; W. H. Foot to pay Hutcheson, Wilson, and Co., £9 6s. by September 25; ajid. W. M. Jaokson and Wni. Jackson, jun., to pay H. C. Gibbons and Company, Ltd., £3 163. 2d. by September 25. POLICE BUSINESS. (Before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) Through being found sleeping in tJio men's waiting-room at Lambton raiLway station just beforo midnight on Wednesday, a man was convicted of being a -rogue a.nd a vagabond. Ho was ordered to appear for sentence when called on.
