SCHOOL SPORTS UNION.
At a meeting of the Mitchelltown School Committee, held on Tuesday evening, it was resolved to take steps to form a school sports association and union. The onthusiasm displayed during tho closing football season has, it is urged, shown ' the need of such an innovation. Assistance from other bodies will be requested in tho launching of the scheme. Meanwhile inquiries will be mado in other centres, and tho various school committees and teachers will bo consulted and their co-operation invited.
