A NEW WHEAT.
IMPORTANT DISCOVERY BY A VILLAGE POSTMAN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. London, September 10. A now wheat has been discovered at Huntingdon. An expert lias tested it. It is claimed that the wheat will greatly increase the yield. It is of excellent milling quality. A village postman was responsible for the discovery. Ho noticed a peculiar ear in a field ami sowe'd tho grain in his garden. The produce from tho 'garden was sufficient to sow nearly threo acres.
