AFFRAY ON A STEAMER.
STABBING CASE AT ADELAIDE. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. September 11, 11.20 p.m.) Adelaide, September U. In reference to tlio stabbing affray oil the German steamer at Adelaide, when it was.stated that the boatswain remonstrated with a man, who struck him with a bottle, it is now stated tJiat it was this man, and not'the tyoatswain, who fatally stabbed Hichter wlien bo entered the forecastle. Subsequently, a fireman named Schiebat staggered out of tlio forecastle with a self-inflicted wound in his throat. The statement that tlio boatswain was responsible for the stabbing was not correct.
