Thomson, M.P., Chairman of tho Education G'ommittco of the House of Representatives, explain themselves:— "In view of stigma cast on my personal and professional reputation by you and Minister for Education, I desire counsel to appoar for mo before Education Committee to cross-examine witnesses called to rebut my chargos against Medical School. Request inquiry be postponed till .Tuesday to give timo for briefing counsel." —(Hunter). , "Rev.' Cameron and Dr. Colquhoun appear oil Friday to givo evidenco re financial needs Otago University; regret cannot postpono inquiry, as they have mado arrangements. —(Thomson). "If Colquhoun find Cameron only financial evidence all right, if rebutting my evidence want counsel; my brother represents me."—(Hunter.) "Education Committee not prepared, to allow counsel to appear: hopo to close down examination Friday,"— (Thomson.)
