A recommendation was agreed to on the lines of the Wellington award, making 44 hours constitute a week's work, the rate of pay being Is. 4.} d Apprentices are to servo 5 years, commencing at 8s". per week, and ending at £1 Bs. 6d. With tho exception of Auckland, tho whole of the Dominion is now under uniform conditions.
