INVERTEBRATE MEMBERS OF THE HARBOUR BOARD AND THE CITY COUNCIL.
Sir,—lt would bs interesting if you would publish a "little list" of the above; so .that wo might know whom to elect in the future, and whom to reject. I think it is generally admitted that a vertebrate animal is higher in tho scale of living organisms than an invertebrate animal, you could, by referring to your back files, give us tho names of tho City Councillors who voted for Inspecto? Fuller's "transfer" and who voted against it. If my memory serves me aright, it was Mn T. M. Wilford, who, as Mayor, gave his casting vote against Inspector Fuller. I think wo should not forgot this. Mr. Fletcher, as chairman of the Harbour Board, has also distinguished himself, but havo you got tho other members of tho board-on your list, for future reference? Wo should not condemn tho whole board, but separate the vertebrates from the invertebrates, tlio sheep from tlio goats. But put them on yonr list, lest wo forgot.—l am, etc. DINNA FORGET.
