——® TRADES UNION RESOLUTIONS. ' By Wclcgraph—Frees Association—Copyright (Reo. September 7, 6.6 p.m.) London, September 6. 'At the Trades Union ■ Congress at Manchester a resolution was carried urging a widespread movement to enforce limitation of public purchases to goods made by unionist labour, and also that the Government be urged to legislate for tho payment of workers on all statutory holidays; A resolution to nationalise the mines and railways was carried by 1,944,000 votes against 43,000. Another resolution wa9 adopted in favour of the extension of the franchise to all adults.
