o FAMOUS SCULLER'S DOWNFALL. By Teleffraph—Press Association—OoDyrizht (Rec. September 7, 5.5 p.m.) London, Septembor 6. 'A. H. Cloutto, a winner of tho Wingfield Sculls, has been sentenced 1 to six months' hard labour for defrauding Baring Bank, where ho was clerk for twenty years. His defalcations amounted to £2500. Ctoutto has five young children, and lie was tempted to speculate on the Stock Exchange to provide for them and for his mother and sisters.
