COMET OF TENTH MAGNITUDE.
DISCOVERED BY DR. METCALF. By Telegraph—Presa Association—Oopyrieht "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. (Ttec. September 7, 5.5 p.m.) " V/ashlngton, September 6. A faint comet of tlio tenth magnitude has been discovered by Dr. J. H. Mot- ■ calf, of Winchester, Massachusetts, who has pierviously discovered about 35 minor planets, several variable _ stars, and two comets. His latest discovery ia possibly identical with Westphals.
