A faint comet of tlio tenth magnitude has been discovered by Dr. J. H. Mot- ■ calf, of Winchester, Massachusetts, who has pierviously discovered about 35 minor planets, several variable _ stars, and two comets. His latest discovery ia possibly identical with Westphals.
