The Petono Working Men's Club Mor-ris-tube shooting team held a smolco concert Inst evening. Mr. R. Cunliffo presided. The following contributed to tho 'programme: —Messrs. Arte, Smith, Orangi, O'Neil, Sim, and Isaacs. Messrs. 11. Head and P. Taylor played tho accompaniments. .His Majesty's Theatre, Petono, was. crowded last evening, tho occasion being a benefit performance to Mr. F. Ricks (late of Mascotto Pictures). Decision on the. award for decorated tables at the Hutt Horticultural. Show was mado known last evening. It is as 'follows:—Judge's award, table No. 7, , Mrs. E. Johnson.
