AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY.
« MEETING OF THE SOCIETY. Thero was a good attendance of members at tlio ■ annual meeting of tho Wellington Amateur .Photographic Society hold last ovoning. Tho report and balance-sheet woro presented, showing tho position of tho socicty to bo very satisfactory, thero being 42 members now on the roll. During tho past year two competitions woro hold between members for prizes offered by Mr. E. E. Arnold. Theso wero won by Messrs. H. C. Milno and Geo. Greig respectively. Tho society has arranged with tlio Auckland Camera Club for an interchange of prints between members of tho two clubs. The first selections from Auckland will be on view' at tlio next ordinary mooting of member^. Tho following officers wero elected for the ensuing twelve months: —Patron, tho Mayor, Mr. J. P. Luko; president, Mr. P. N. Denton; vice-presidents, his Honour Judgo Chapman, Dr. Newman, M.l\, Messrs. W. H. P. Barber, Malcolm Ross, J.olm Smith, B. W. White, R. J. AVliito; committee, Miss Hume, Messrs. W. Beck, A. 11. Griffiths, G. Norton, W. Piatt, F. W. Sellers; lion, treasurer, Miss M. E. Young; lion, secretary, Mr. Geo. Greig.
