FAMOUS OUTLAW DEAD.
« "GEORGIA BILL'S" 'ADVENTUROUS LIFE. By Telegraph—Press Association—OopjTight (Rec. September 5, 9.35 p.m.) Vancouver, September 5. ,The death has occurred in prison of "Georgia Bill," n miner, one of the notorious train.robbers and gaol-break-ers in North America. For the last fifty years ho has been engaged! iiu robbing trains. Ho was frequently captured and imprisoned for life, but managed to escape many years ago, and took part in tho Australian gold rushes. He was a prominent man around Coolgardio. Afterwards ho engaged in tho slovo trade in Turkey, He was never guilty of violence, oven whon that could liavo gained him his freedom, and was known to have done' many acts of benevolence. He was well educated, and had often been reported dead. Ho read his obituary notices in newspapers with great amusoment.
