Ho Inui made special inquiries ill the West in . view of the possibility of developing trade between the two countries. Ho is convinced that there are bright prospects of trade development —vast now markets for meat, butter, wool, and other commodities. With a view to removing tho duty on wool and foodstuffs, ho strongly recommends the strengthening of Australian representation at San Francisco, Chicago, and Vancouver, and increased steamer facilities.
