Spiers, a local 1 dairy farmer, was proceeded against for offering for salo milk adulterated with > water. A fino of £5 and costs £1 9s. I 6d. was inflicted. R. C. Dick, Hutt ■' County ranger, prosecuted J. Coulter, ; of Paekakariki, for allowing cows to > wander on the Main Road. Defendant, t who did not appear, was fined 10s., and • costs £1 18s.
