The main points in the lease arc: —Term, 21 years; rent, to bo fixed by tlio City Valuer; oonstruotioiu, tlio first t'hreo courts aro to be constructed within tho first twelve months from the dato of signing the lease, and the remaining six are to l>e formed at the rato of two per annum." Councillor Frost explained, ,iii answer to a question by Councillor Fletcher, that when the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association had got their portion of the ground, there would still bo from six to eight acres loft for children's playing ground. Councillors Frost and Buddlo wero ' appointed a committee to consider tho terms of the lease with the City Solicitor.
