Stead was to havo had control of tho disposal of Mr. Rhodos's fortune on lines that Mr. Rhodes had laid down, but as Mr. Stead had been violently opposed to Mr. Rhodes's war policy, the latter had appointed other trustees. Miss Stead relates that three weeks after the 'drowning of Mn Stead in tho wreck of tho Titanic ho appeared at "Julia's Bureau,", and assured tho audience that "All I have told you is truo."
