MUSICIANS UNION.
> The second annual gathering of tlio Wellington Musicians' Union was hold in "Tho Tiffin" this week. Tho first part took the form of a drawing-room entertainment. After supper a' lengthy toast list was gene through, and music, song,, and story followed. Mr. Harold Oakes presided. The toast of "Kindred Unions" was proposed by Mr. T. T. Joy and responded to by Mr. Dodds (Christchurch). Mr. A. ■Williams proposed "The Employers," and Messrs. J. Fuller, jun., and R. J. A. Lister responded. Air. Griffiths gavo "The Ladies," to which Mr. D. A. Konney responded. The following contributed to tile entertainment: —Mr. A. Gilles, Mr. A. S. Hilliker, Mrs. J. F. Woodward, Mr. W. 11. Bowman, Mr. E. Gilchrist, Mr. D. A. Kennev, Mr. R. C. Hollow, Miss Nellie Simpson, Mr. Dodds, and Mr. Digby. An orchestra under the baton of Mr. H. Mosehini played at intervals.
