Tho "Times," in a special article, insists that Trade Unionism has been a failure. The article goes oil to state that between tho years 1002 and 1906 tho workers have lost £11,000,000 in wages through loss of work, during strikes in Great Britain; in 1912 they lost £40,000,000. In tho meanwhilo working conditions had become harder and harder, and the workers were not only being speeded-up by employers, but were also being socially screwed down by how governing classes. With trades unionism' pure and simple tho workers went ahead.' With political trades unionism they wero going backward.
