Sale of Work at Roseneath. A sale of work, organised by tho Ladies' Guild of tlio Presbyterian Church at Roseneath, in aid of tlie' debt extinction i'und, -was opened by tho Mayoress, Mrs. J. P. Luke, in the Roseneath School yesterday afternoon. The various stalls, which had been prettilly draped and decorated for tho occasion, were laden with most attractive articles, tho sowing (plaiu and fancy) being quite a feature. of the undertaking. Tlio doll stall, with ita array of Parisian hat models, quite captivated tlio hearts of tho children, and, as a matter of fact, elicited admiring comments from several of tho older people. • Tho flower stall was laden with a wealth of spring flowers, and equally well supplied with an excellent collection of home-niado goods was tho produce stall. The death took placo on Tuesday, at tho family residenco in Tinakori lload, of Mrs. ICatherine Louisa Wilson, widow of Mr. Benjamin Wilson, who was for inauy years oil tho staff of tho Government Printing Office, it is only a few weeks ago since she lost her eldost daughter, Mrs. W. Brunton, and early in tho year the death of her' husband took placo. Tho late Mrs. Wilson was born in.tho North of Ireland, and travelled out to New Zealand forty years ago.
