Australian artists, under the presidency of Mr. Bertram MaoKemial (the sculptor) have drawn up proposals regarding the taural decoration and statuary for tlie Commonwealth, f building. They claim that this work ought to be reserved for Australians.
Sir George Roid, High Commissioner for Australia, has forwarded the proposals to Mr. Cook, tho Federal Prime Minister.
