FIRE AT THE BLUFF.

Invcrcargill, September 1
Shortly before 5 o'clcck this morning at the Bluff a five-roomed house, occupied by 51r. C. Stagg and family, and owned bv Mr. C. Burtenshaw. Timaru, was completely destroyed by fire. The building was insured for £415 in the State office, and tho furniture, all of which was destroyed, in the North British. The origin of the outbreak is a mystery.
